Control Systems Design and Validation Engineer

Control Systems Engineer ( SCADA PLC) *Hybrid*. Help with design, quoting, process validation, and documenting of large manufacturing systems. (Understanding of embedded systems, a huge +)

As a Control Systems Engineer you will join a design and validation team and collaborate with C, C# and C++ software engineers to design and create a wide range of possible automation network activities; this will involve rapid change and additions to equipment, software, programming, process test protocols and validation, in house and onsite. You’ll join a highly intelligent and motivated team working on a wide variety of projects with a diverse toolset and will have the opportunity to specialize and progress your career.

You’ll be based in the north east; within driving distance of Hartford, CT. Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and a single in person interview. You can work from home when possible.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated, Computer science or similar
  • Experience of creating and operating a variety of Industrial Control Systems and networks including a good knowledge of SCADA and PLC Design (Siemens, Rockwell)
  • Software / hardware experience with various control system vendors e.g. Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, Mitsubishi, GE
  • Keen interest in AI, Cyber Security; you research in your own time
  • Collaborative with excellent communication skills

IVV Test Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or five (5) years of equivalent work experience in software V&V, preferably with embedded software for safety critical environments
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with senior management
  • Ability to prepare high quality formal written documentation addressing IV&V concepts for a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards used in regulated industries
  • Knowledge with multiple programming languages. (C, C++, C#, python)
  • Knowledge with COTS testing products. (TRACE32, VectorCAST)

Preferred:

  • Experienced leader in the modern technology software development methodologies/ processes
  • Experience in design control for regulated products
  • Experience in software tool validation/qualification and Computer Software Validation (CSV)
  • Experience setting up V&V frameworks/environments from the ground up

Electrical Engineer

We are searching for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in our engineering team, performing a range of duties including designing, testing, documenting and inspecting hardware and software used for a wide variety of customer applications, in varied industries.

This will be a hybrid position, so must be within commuting distance of East Hartford, CT

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of design analytics, algorithms, analysis tools, and the integration of hardware and software. To excel in this position, all candidates should be critical and creative thinkers, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic hardware analysis and reviews of computer hardware and software using available technology and testing tools.
  • Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
  • Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards
  • Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
  • Define customer needs and requirements
  • Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
  • Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
  • Summarize data and report on test results
  • Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of design analytics, algorithms, analysis tools, and the integration of hardware and software. Responsibilities:

  •  Knowledge with multiple programming languages. (C, C++, C#, SQL, python, LabVIEW, Matlab, etc.)
